Adult Lessons and Clinics
Our pro will offer both group and individual lessons for adult players starting in May. These lessons are open to both members and non-members, but members receive a $5/hour discount on lesson fees.
Adult Group Lessons
Cost: $10 per session for members, $15 for non-members. Six sessions may be prepaid for $40 for members, $50 for non-members.
When: Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
Level 1 ('Novice') Group Lessons
These lessons are designed for people who have limited tennis experience and will focus on the basics of singles and doubles play and on the fundamental technical tennis skills: grip, setup, impact point, hitting zone and recovery.
Level 2 ('Intermediate') Group Lessons
These lessons are designed for people who have some previous tennis experience and are able to rally somewhat consistently. They will review technique for each of the primary strokes (forehand and backhand groundstroke, volley, serve and overhead smash), but will focus mainly on rallying situations, point construction, and general tactics.
Level 3 ('Advanced') group lessons may be provided if there is sufficient interest.
Private/Semi-Private Lessons (VIDEO RECORDING AVAILABLE)
Cost: Private – Member - $35/hour, Nonmember - $40/hour, Semi-Private – Members - $40/hour (per group), Nonmembers – additional $5/hour for each player
When: Court availability for private and semi-private lessons is restricted to:
Friday afternoons and evenings.
Times outside regular club house hours (e.g. Saturdays).
Group lesson slots which are not required for group lessons.
These lessons focus on the aspect of the game requested by the individual or group. Semi-private lessons provide groups of two or more to sign up for lessons together.
