Minor Tennis League

In July and August, rather than offer more rounds of FUNdamentals, Capilano Tennis Club will sponsor and host a Minor League Tennis program, running for eight (8) weeks, starting Tuesday July 2. This is a fun and social way for kids to be introduced to competitive tennis. A ‘red ball’ league for kids under 9 will run Tuesdays, an ‘orange ball’ league for kids under 12 will run Wednesdays and a ‘green ball league for kids up to age 15 will run Thursdays. All three leagues will offer a combination of coaching and fun competition, and will run from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Registration for Minor League Tennis will be $100 per child, and is limited to 24 participants in each division. Each participant will receive a t-shirt, and there will be an awards celebration at the end of each league.

It is not necessary to purchase a club membership to participate in Minor Tennis league, although Junior memberships (for players under the age of 18) are only $35 for the year, and Family memberships (two adults and dependent children) are only $135 for the year plus a refundable $50 volunteer deposit. A $10 discount will be provided on the after school and Minor Tennis League for members.
