–My child loved Tennis-in-the-Schools. Where can he/she play outside the school?
•Tennis Yukon provides year-round programming for all ages and abilities, and provides equipment. In addition, Tennis Yukon partners with the City of Whitehorse to provide tennis programming in the City Rec Guide. –Where can I purchase the equipment that is used in Tennis for Schools?
•Most Canadian Tire and Wal-Mart stores carry Progressive Tennis equipment that is developmentally appropriate for a child’s size and skill level. You can also contact Tennis Yukon for assistance in ordering size and age appropriate tennis equipment.
You can borrow a racquet - Tennis Yukon provides juior and adult racquets to use during a program. All you need are sneakers and clothes you can move in!
