CTC Assistant Tennis Professional Position

The Calgary Tennis Club (CTC) in Calgary, Alberta requires a part-time/full-time Assistant Tennis Professional for the 2014 outdoor tennis season (May 1 to September 1) to report to the Head/Lead Tennis Pro. CTC has nine courts – six hard courts and three Claytech courts. Additionally, we have a full service club house which serves approximately 800 members.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Ability to run a wide variety of on court programming:
-Multi-level adult group programs
-Cardio Tennis
-School programs
-Summer kid’s programs
-Provide private, semi-private and group lessons
-Assist with tournament preparations, scheduling and tournament desk
-Actively promoting memberships, lessons, programming, and club events

Required Qualifications:
-Legally entitled to work in Canada
-Preferred candidates to have Club Pro 1 designation
-Open level player with significant teaching experience
-Strong tennis client focus with high professional standards
-Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the Club - evening and weekend work is expected
-Demonstrated ability to deliver on commitments
-Proven ability to work collaboratively as a team player as well as independently
