REGISTRATION POLICY -  All registrations for the 2013 Bell and Grant Open must be done online at www.tennisnovascotia.ca. Nova Scotia residents can purchase a tournament player membership online. Out of province participants please contact T.N.S for entry into the tournament.

 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21st AT 5:00PM

 

COST -  $50.00 for the first event (singles or doubles) and $25 for each additional event. $25.00 per team for parent-child. Please make checks payable to Tennis Nova Scotia.

 

SCHEDULE OF PLAY -  Play will begin Saturday, August 24th at 8:00am. The schedule for Saturday and Sunday will be available online August 23rd at approximately 8:00 pm.

 

SCORING -    All main draw Open singles matches will be the best of three tie-break sets.

 

All main draw Master’s singles matches and all doubles matches will be the best of three sets with a third set super tie breaker to 10 points.

 

All singles consolation matches will be 8-game pro-set with a tie-breaker at 7-7.

 

CONSOLATION IN ALL EVENTS - Consolation is available for all first match losers. If you receive a BYE and lose you are still eligible for consolation. All players eligible to enter in the consolation draw will automatically be put in the draw, unless the player states otherwise. Please notify the tournament desk if you do not wish to participate in the consolation draw immediately following your main draw match.
