Information Collected By Courtside

Information Provided By You

We collect personal information such as your name and email address when you register. After you register as part of your personal profile you may add information regarding your availability, home courts, contact information, photos, favorite players and products.

Information Collected Automatically

This information includes cookies, your IP address and browser type. Your IP address is the unique address of your computer which is automatically provided to other computers when your web browser or email application requests a web page or email from those computers on the Internet.

Use and Disclosure of Information

We will display your personal information on your profile according to the preferences you set. We will use your name so it is recognizable on our database and so that you can personalize your experience. We will use your email address to contact you from time to time with new information/features or for security reasons to confirm you are who you say you are.

We may use the information collected automatically such as your IP address and information stored via cookies to get the number of people who visit Courtside and to customize Courtsides content, layout and services.

Our advertising and promotions partners have no access to your name, email or personal contact information stored by Courtside unless you choose to share it with them. Courtside does not provide your name, email address or personal contact information to any advertising partners when you view a targeted advertisement.

We will disclose your personal identifiable information only if we believe we are required to do so by law, government authorities or to protect our rights and property including law enforcement agencies in any official investigation.

We reserve the right to transfer your personal information in the event of a transfer of ownership of Courtside, such as a merger with another company. If an acquiring company should plan to materially change this privacy policy will notify you beforehand.

Tell-A-Friend

If you choose to invite your friends and team mates to join Courtside we will ask you to enter their name and email and a one-time invitation from you will be sent. We do not store or keep this information for any reason. If the person you invited chooses to set up a Courtside page they must do so on their own.

The website contains links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by Courtside. Please be aware that we, Courtside, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. Our privacy statement applies only to information collected by our website.

This will bring up the "Settings" dialogue box, using the slide bar on the left side of the box scroll up until you find the wording Block All Cookies. Then click on the button at the bottom of the menu box and this will prevent your computer from accessing any future cookies.

Courtside may link information stored in cookies such as your age, gender and city to gather statistics about the number of people who use Courtside.

You Control Who Shares Your Information

Your Courtside profile information will only be shared with people you have specifically agreed to share such information with (such as your Interclub team). You can limit who can view certain personal information including all addresses and phone numbers. Please bear in mind that if you choose to share your personal information with other people on Courtside, you do so at your own risk.

The security of your personal information depends on your protection of your account password. Please do not disclose your password to unauthorized people. Courtside uses industry standard technology designed to help keep your personal information safe. Please bear in mind though, that it is impossible for Courtside to guarantee that impenetrable security measures are in place. Consequently you acknowledge that there are circumstances in which your personal information may be accessible to unauthorized persons.
